On May 12, HSE University celebrated Women in Mathematics Day together with The New School. In her interview, Vlada Kazantseva, a mathematics teacher at The New School and a graduate of the first cohort of the HSE Faculty of Mathematics talks about what modern schoolchildren think about mathematics, what the difference is between male and female teachers, how to choose between a career and family, and why mathematics is a science for everyone.
