Official opening of the Double Degree track
On June 7th, the official opening of the Double Diploma joint master program (Comparative Social Research HSE + East European Studies of the Freie Universität Berlin) was held at the Higher School of Economics in Moscow. The event was attended by representatives of both universities, German Embassy in Russia and DAAD.
Starting in autumn 2018 selected students from both programmes (a min. of 5 from each partner) will have the opportunity to earn a second degree from the partner university while writing the MA thesis in co-supervision with professors from HSE and FUB. All participants would be included in International Research projects during their internships.

The main purpose of the programme is to get the best from both universities and countries. For examples, HSE students will study the comparative research of East-European countries, while Berlin students could be acquainted to methods of social analysis.
