Election of Members of HSE’s Academic Council: Participation of Delegates

On March 19, 2024, an important event took place in the life of our University - the voting for the elected part of HSE’s Academic Council. Among the delegates elected to vote with a mandate for  7 years, it was the academic supervisor of the master's programme "Comparative Social Research" Ekaterina Mitrofanova 

The voting took place within the framework of the Conference of HSE’s employees and students. The rector, academic supervisor, vice-rectors, representatives of different campuses, professors, scientific and administrative staff of the HSE and students were present and performed at this event. 

The Pavilion 75 of VDNKh was open for HSE delegates for the whole day, and during the break between the Conference events, excursions were held around the interactive stands of the exhibition, representing different regions of Russia.

Based on the voting results, 87 members were elected to the HSE’s Academic Council for the next 5 years, including representatives of the Faculty of Social Sciences, for example, Mikhail Mironyuk and Denis Strebkov. At the end of the ceremonial part, rector Nikita Anisimov invited the Academic Council of the new convocation to the next meeting and took a selfie from the stage with the Conference participants.
