New Double Degree with EHESS Paris
HSE and L'École des hautes études en sciences sociales (EHESS) have signed an agreement for the provision of a double degree track for the HSE’s Master's programme in Comparative Social Research. This is the second double degree track being offered to students of this programme. Earlier this year, a similar agreement was signed with the Free University of Berlin.
Official opening of the Double Degree track
On June 7th, the official opening of the Double Diploma joint master program (Comparative Social Research HSE + East European Studies of the Freie Universität Berlin) was held at the Higher School of Economics in Moscow. The event was attended by representatives of both universities, German Embassy in Russia and DAAD.

Double Degree — Freie Universität Berlin (FUB), Germany
We are happy to announce that the Master´s programme on Comparative Social Research has signed a Double-Degree-Agreement with the Master´s programme “East European Studies” at the Freie Universität Berlin (FUB) in Germany. Starting in autumn 2018 selected students from both programmes (a min. of 5 from each partner) will have the opportunity to earn a second degree from the partner university.
Russia and the World: Values and Vurtues
On January 16, our student has participated in Гайдаровский форум (Gaidar Forum) - an annual event that discusses major trends in social-and-economic and political development.
This year the Forum was devoted to the topic "Russia and the World: Values and Vurtues".

On Wednesday, December 6th, the students of the Programme got a chance to listen to a lecture by the prof of Leipzig University, Germany. The lecture was devoted to theme 'What is Cultural Sociology? How to apply it to Social Research'
Golden Citation Award: Christian Welzel is the Winner!
The winner of Golden Citation Award was announced in Moscow at the Golden HSE Award ceremony in Moscow. In 2017, LCSR chief research fellow Christian Welzel has become the winner!
