Korea Corner
In 2018, with the support of the Korea Foundation, the Korea Corner Club for students and professors was opened under the program "Economics and Politics in Asia". The Korea Corner has an extensive library of books on Korean language, Korean studies and other Asian countries, as well as a rich collection of Korean art and culture items such as Samulnori traditional musical instruments, Korean theater masks, the Paduk board game, and more.
For the convenience of teachers and students, in addition to the main library fund, Korea Corner is equipped with MFPs and computers that have access to the electronic resources of the Kyung Hee University library. The Club has a large TV for themed evenings and watching various films and videos. After such events, discussions and debates are arranged.
Korea Corner Club also works as a library. Here you can find textbooks, books on the history and culture of Asia. Some of the books are available for the in-Club reading only, some can be picked up after filling out the electronic form.
In their free time, students come to Korea Corner. Here they can prepare for their classes, chat with professors in an informal setting, or just relax with friends. During breaks, teachers also join the club: prepare materials for classes or have a cup of tea or coffee with students. The club has a permanent manager who is always ready to help teachers and students.
