How to Apply
The application process for Fall 2025 for foreign students is open from November, 1 2024 until August, 3 2025. The application procedures for Russian citizens are available here.
Key Portfolio Requirements:
- bachelor's, master's or specialist degree (higher education diploma with specialization in East Asian countries (PRC, Republic of Korea, Japan) is an additional advantage);
- proficiency in English (proficiency in Chinese / Korean / Japanese language if available is an additional advantage);

motivation letter in English;

two recommendation letters in Russian or English.
Admission process:
Prepare
the documents, specified in the portfolio;
Create
an account via HSE Master's Personal Account;
Complete
application form in your personal account;
Submit
all relevant documents following the instructions in the account until August, 3 2025;
Wait
for acceptance letter or notification of denial (usually you will get the result within 2 weeks).
Sign
your contract at the Admissions of the Higher School of Economics, located at Myasnitskaya st, 20 and make payment for the first semester if your portfolio passed the minimum score set for HSE and Kyung Hee University Double Master’s Degree Programme in Economics, Politics, and Business in Asia Programme.
Deadline for submission of all supporting documents: August, 3 2025.
Tuition payment deadline: 25 August 2025.
Applications are processed on a rolling basis and can be submitted at any time.
Classes begin on September, 1 2025.
Additional information:
HSE and Kyung Hee University Double Master’s Degree Programme in Economics, Politics and Business in Asia is a fee-paying programme.
Please note that NO scholarships are available for students applying to the HSE and Kyung Hee University Double Degree Programme in Economics, Politics and Business in Asia.
To pay tuition, please use HSE Payments. Note: only local currency (Russian rubles) is accepted.
