Academic Mobility Applications Call Open: Summer Schools and Fall Semester 2025
In the run-up to the 2025-26 fall semester academic exchange, the team of ICEF International Administrative Department met with students seeking study-abroad experience. Here are the exchange opportunities available, the documentation package required and how to get it right.
The students are welcome to apply for places on any of the following 2025-2026 fall semester exchange programmes operating under direct agreements between ICEF and its partner universities:
- Southwestern University of Finance and Economics (SWUFE), Chengdu, China. Ranking among China’s Top 3 Finance Universities and Top 7 Economics Schools (Shanghai Ranking, 2024), SWUFE partners ICEF for the delivery of Bachelor’s and Master’s double-degree programmes. This exchange offers a quota of 5 places and is run on SWUFE’s side by Research Institute of Economics and Management (RIEM). - Istanbul Bilgi University, Istanbul, Turkey. Operating as a Recognised Teaching Center of the University of London (UoL) (BSc Economics and Finance, BSc Economics and Management, BSc Management and Digital Innovation), Istanbul Bilgi University offers 3 places on its undergraduate exchange programme. - Shanghai University, Shanghai, China. Undergraduate exchange is hosted at Shanghai University by the School of Economics and SILC Business School, each offering a quota of 5 places. More information about Shanghai University can be found here.
- College of Business and Economics, UAE University, Al Ain, United Arab University. Ranking among the UAE’s Top 3 Universities, this college offers 3 places on its undergraduate exchange programme for students in Year 2-4. Please use this link to learn more about the UAE University.
- Kazakh-British Technical University (KBTU), Almaty, Kazakhstan. Operating as a Recognised Teaching Center of the University of London (BSc Economics and Finance, BSc Mathematics and Economics and Management, BSc Data Science and Business Analytics), KBTU offers a quota of 5 places on its undergraduate exchange programme. Fill out the form and enclose your motivation letter (250-500 words, free form). The deadline for submission is 1 March 2025.

University-wide exchange programmes (Fall Semester 2025-26):
The application process involves three rounds:
- Round 1: 3-23 February 2025 (list of universities)
- Round 2: 3-24 March 2025 (list of universities)
- Round 3: 31 March – 20 April 2025 (list of universities)
In each Round, you can apply to 2 universities but be nominated only to one.
Documentation package for university-wide competition:
- Application indicating two universities in order of priority.
- List of courses for taking at host university.
- Motivation letter (max. 500 words).
- English competence certificate.
- Cost estimate, Consent for the cross-border transfer and processing of personal data, letter of recommendation (optional).

Summer Schools 2025
You are welcome to apply for Summer School courses at Southwestern University of Finance and Economics (SWUFE), Chengdu, China:

5-7 places with covered accommodation and course fees.
