About the Programme
‘We see our students as future professors, ministers, successful businesspeople… and always professionals in their field. I believe these expectations will become reality!’
Financial, Tax and Customs Law is a uniquely designed programme in which the study of financial and tax law is supplemented with a specialization in tax law and state regulation of foreign trade. It combines fundamental training in theory and history of financial law and the study of comparative and international financial, tax, and customs law with professional courses that prepare students to work as lawyers in public and municipal agencies, as financial and tax advisers for private companies, and as researchers in public finance and financial law.
The programme trains highly qualified experts who have relevant knowledge in financial, tax and customs law and are capable of:
- Using this knowledge in public and municipal service to provide legal support for state and municipal financial activities, as well as in public agencies’ foreign economic activities;
- Using the acquired knowledge to provide consulting and expert services, as well as legal support in business that is primarily related to the interaction between public and private finance, taxation and state regulation of foreign economic activities;
- Carrying out both fundamental and applied legal and interdisciplinary academic research related to the topic of the Master’s programme; implementing the results of research in the operations of state and municipal agencies, as well as in private business; and teaching at institutions of higher education.
‘This Master’s programme features a current research perspective and is in line with strong academic traditions. I believe that only this programme can offer practical skills supported by fundamental knowledge in financial, tax, and customs law.’
