Official Master of International Business program reception

On Saturday, October 21st, Master of International Business program held its official and already traditional reception for its students and lecturers.

This year it was glammed up with the cupcakes with the program’s abbreviation and black & yellow decoration theme of the room in the «Great Gatsby» style. The event, organized by the students and the program management, was held in a very pleasant, cheerful and informal atmosphere. The students came up with a very diversified and interesting entertainment program with performances, competitions and presents. The trio «Big Remix», created by the program’s students, was in charge of the musical accompanying. 

As is known, MIB program combines the students – speakers of various languages, which allowed to organize an interesting linguistic experiment, where the electric activity of the brain was demonstrated in a real-time mode. The song from the «The Sound of Music» musical, performed by turn in French, Dutch, Spanish, German, Italian and Russian languages, was used as a stimulus material. Each participant of the competition should have counted the amount of notes C in this multilingual song with the use of portable electroencephalograph ‘Emotiv Insight’.  Foreign students shared their Russian life experience as well. And MIB instructors were granted with the humorous personal diplomas from students.     

The opportunity to communicate with each other and professors, take pictures beside the branded HSE press-wall, and print photos for memory via InstaPrinter – made an evening fruitful and memorable for MIB students.
