Selection to the HSE Jessup team for the season 2024 is officially open!
The Philip C. Jessup Competition was established in 1959 as a competition in international law, which is a simulation of a fictional dispute between countries before the International Court of Justice, the judicial organ of the United Nations. To date, the Jessup Competition is the largest and the most prestigious international law competition in English.
To qualify, submit a 2,000-word memorial based on the Jessup 2023 Problem, selecting one issue (e.g., imposing sanctions) and one party (e.g., complainant (Aglovale) or respondent (Ragnell)).
Please note that memorials will be checked for plagiarism, so it is essential to correctly cite the sources used.
On September 9, successful candidates will participate in an oral presentation and interview.
