The HSE team became quarterfinalists of the FDI Moot in Miami!
This year, our students reached the quarterfinals of the Foreign Direct Investment Moot Court (“FDI Moot"), the most prestigious competition in the field of international investment arbitration. 57 teams from around the world participated in this year’s edition of FDI Moot. The competition was held in Miami, Florida, USA.
HSE University Enters THE Top 100 in Economics and Appears in Law Ranking for the First Time
HSE took 94th place in the THE ranking in Business & Economics, outperforming all the other Russian universities in this subject. In addition, the university entered the ranking in Law for the first time (151+ cohort), becoming the only Russian university represented there.

For the first time in the history of Higher School of Economics, the HSE Faculty of Law team has reached the quarterfinals rounds of the Foreign Direct Investment Moot Court (“FDI Moot”) 2018 in Stockholm, the most prestigious competition in the field of international investment arbitration.
HSE Students Win Vis Moot
On March 29th, an HSE Faculty of Law team was the first in Russian history to win the The Annual Willem C. Vis International Commercial Arbitration Moot (Vis Moot). It beat the University of Cambridge in the finals, and was the best among 362 university teams from around the globe.
