Master students participated in the 3rd International Conference 'East and West at the Stage of New Transformations: The Post-Covid Changes'
On November 17-18, students of the master’s program «International Relations: European and Asian Studies» spoke at the 3rd International Conference 'East and West at the Stage of New Transformations: The Post-Covid Changes'. Davronova Sabina, Krasikova Lolita, Kulieva Nubara and Nadzharov Alexander presented their reports.
The conference was held online and consisted of four sections. Masters took part in a youth section dedicated to the transformation of global and regional integration models after the COVID-19 pandemic.
The purpose of the conference was to analyze the main changes in the world and in specific regions that have arisen as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic, as well as their implications for the domestic politics and economic development of countries.
The organizing committee was co-chaired by Sergey Karaganov, honorary chairman of the Presidium of the Council on Foreign Defense and Policy, Academic Supervisor of the HSE Faculty of World Economy and International Affairs, and Vitaly Naumkin, Academic Director of the Institute of Oriental Studies of the Russian Academy of Sciences.
