Open Seminar “Can India replace China as a global factory?”
On April 27, 2023, an open seminar was held at the Faculty of World Economy and International Affairs within the framework of the project "India and the challenges of Global Politics", which was devoted to the possibility of India being as economically attractive as China.

School of International Regional Studies congratulates Pavel Shaternikov, 1st year student of the Master’s Program “International Relations: European and Asian Studies”, and Ekaterina Vaseneva, 4th year student of the Bachelor’s Program “Asian and African Studies”, on the article entitled “The ASEAN Economic Community in the Priorities of Japanese Business: the Role of Singapore as a Point of Market Entry”. The article has been published in the bi-lingual academic journal “Southeast Asia: Actual Problems of Development” which is included in the HSE University List of Highly Ranked Journals (“The White List”).

On October 22, at the invitation of the Embassy of the Republic of Indonesia in the Russian Federation (accredited to the Republic of Belarus), Evgeny Kanaev, Professor of School of International Regional Studies, delivered a guest lecture to young diplomats from the embassies of the Asia-Pacific countries, as well as to young Russian experts.
