Basic Curriculum Structure

The curriculum comprises the following components: Key Seminars, Major, Mago-Lego, Internship, and Final State Examination

Key Seminars


- Adviser's Seminars for each specialization, or track, for first- and second-year students
- Research Seminars on language, linguistics, and intercultural communication, e.g. language for specific purposes; linguistic personology; stereotypes in professional intercultural communication; axiological linguistics; comparative typology of English and Russian; history of linguistic studies, etc. First-year students can pick three of these research seminars. Translators and interpreters pick only one research seminar and take two compulsory ones. Linguistic researchers pick two research seminars and take one compulsory seminar.
