Learn how to make a difference
Marina Chashko, HSE student on Master’s Programme in Foreign Languages and Cross-cultural Communication, has participated in the first University Model United Nations in Venice as a representative of the New Zealand delegation in the Social, Humanitarian and Cultural Committee. Marina has talked about her experience and explained why taking part in MUN is critical for all young people interested in the current international situation, even for linguists.

Help Rooms – So Far So Good!
First lessons were given in the framework of the 'Help Rooms' project, which was organized by students of the Master's program in Foreign Languages and Cross-cultural Communication. Tutors have shared their first impressions with us and we asked them what it is like -- to be a mentor. So, the first classes took place and we decided to ask the young teachers how their first lessons were and find out what their students think about their classes.

The Department of foreign languages invites future university applicants to attend the open doors day of the 'Foreign Languages and Cross-cultural Communication' programme, which will be held on the 5th of March 2016.
