Marina Stepnova Holds Creative Writing Workshop in Novosibirsk

The meetings took place at the Centre for Books and Reading at the Novosibirsk Regional Academic Library.

During the master class ‘What should I write?’, Marina Stepnova, a professor in the Master's Programme ‘Creative Writing’, gave participants a template which can be used to create unusual stories as a game. At the end of the workshop, the participants read their own texts out loud and discussed them as a group. At a meeting the following day, Marina Stepnova gave the audience tips on how to become a writer in Russia and what it means to do so.

The administrative team of the Master’s Programme ‘Creative Writing’ thanks the head of the department of the Centre for Books and Reading, Karina Vutsan, for organizing the events.
