How to apply
The deadline for submitting documents to the admission committee is from 01/04/2023 to 15/09/2023 for the Marketing Management programme.
The entrance test for the online master's programme "Marketing Management" is a portfolio competition.
How to prepare for admission: step-by-step instruction (the sequence of steps, you choose yourself steps from the second to the fourth).
Step 1. Explore the composition and requirements for the portfolio
What to pay attention to? 2 portfolio parts (a motivation letter in the format of a video and a marketing case solution) together determine 70% of the portfolio score.
Step 2. Make a checklist of portfolio items, noting which documents you already have and which you have to collect
What to pay attention to? Our programme is post-experienced, so prospective students with business experience receive priority. Also your personal achievements in marketing/business are especially welcome (by providing, for example, letters of recommendation from employers indicating your achievements, and/or articles at conferences about marketing topics, with it you can earn extra points).
Step 3. Practice solving a marketing case
What to pay attention to? Since the case does not imply the existence of the only correct solution, your task is to justify your decision. Therefore do not forget that a well-conducted analysis of the situation (using marketing and strategic analysis tools) is the key to find a good decision.
Step 4. Record your video, upload it to any cloud storage and prepare a file with a link to it
What to pay attention to? No one will tell us about you better than you do it! It is better you to work out the scenario of your presentation, dividing it into 3 blocks: what to tell about yourself and your work experience, what about your future vision in marketing, and something about the reasons for choosing our programme. You could try to take a test brace.
Step 5: Check if all portfolio documents are ready to upload
What to pay attention to? All your achievements / further education must be officially confirmed. For example, if you have studied online courses in marketing (management and business courses are also taken into account), you have to provide the certificate.
Step 6. Upload a portfolio to the master's personal account (PC)
What to pay attention to? You can click the “Apply” button, fill in a questionnaire, after it you will receive a letter containing a link to the personal account and a further procedure for registering as a prospective student.
Step 7. Solve a marketing case
What to pay attention to? After uploading your portfolio to your personal account, we will send you a case to the email address specified during registration and the time by which you have to send us a solution. After that, your portfolio will be fully formed.
