In 2019, winners of the Student Research Paper Competition and the Möbius contest will be admitted to the HSE's Master's programme in Mathematics without entrance exams.

The Faculty of Mathematics invites applications to Master’s programme 'Mathematics'. This programme trains professional researchers in mathematical sciences and experts in mathematical education. Students will be prepared for Ph.D. qualifying tests, have own research agenda and experience and have teaching experience at university level.

HSE Announces Olympiad Competitions for English-taught Master’s Programmes
In March 2017, International Olympiad Competitions will be held for perspective students interested in studying in Master’s programmes at HSE University. All current undergraduate students and recent university graduates students interested in pursuing a Master’s degree are invited to participate.

International laboratory for Mirror Symmetry and Automorphic Forms
The new international laboratory 'Mirror Symmetry and Automorphic Forms' will open at the Faculty of Mathematics of HSE in 2017. The project of Ludmil Katzarkov (Professor of the University of Miami) won the fifth Mega-grants competition of the Government of the Russian Federation. Our faculty is the only one in the country, where in 2017 will run three laboratories in fundamental mathematics, and two of them are in the framework of this global scientific program of the federal support of scientific research.
