This year, discussions at the XV St. Petersburg Economic Forum (SPIEF) will focus on how to find new growth points and expand the potential of the Russian economy in times of unprecedented external and internal challenges and sanctions.
We at the School of Finance believe that solving these problems is possible by creating conditions for inclusive economic growth. We are going to share our thoughts and views on this topic at a round table planned as part of the SPIEF youth program. The round table will be led by Dr. Irina Ivashkovskaya, the Tenured Professor, and the Head of the HSE School of Finance. Our team will be composed not only of academic and business experts but also of graduate and master students.
The agenda of the round table includes discussion of issues around the integrated management of the variety of non-financial resources and risks. We will also consider the implementation of sustainable growth strategies aimed at creating value for all stakeholders. We will elaborate on the role of integrated reporting as a tool for assessing entities ability to create value. Lastly, we will discuss how the younger generation can contribute to the development of integrated thinking.
In 2022, the SPIEF will be held from June 15 to 18. The Forum is one of the world's leading platforms for business representatives to communicate and discuss key economic issues facing Russia, emerging markets, and the world.
