What will you learn?
The course focuses on the key financial concepts and tools for creating and increasing value in business, including closed and family enterprises. We will demonstrate how risk and profitability criteria change the assessment of organisational effectiveness and help to evaluate various financial instruments in financial markets.
You will learn about the analytical tools used to identify and measure the value creation effects of business solutions in any sector. You will also gain new insight into how various motivations behind management and board decisions can affect financial policies and company value.
Experts from large companies (PWC, Rosselkhoznadzor, the Moscow Exchange, Boston Consulting Group, IBS) will also share their experience in the course.

ECONOMETRICS
This course builds essential skills necessary for economic, business and financial analysis. After the course, you will be able to perform your own economic data analysis based on an understanding of econometric tools. You will learn how to apply these tools and methods to various topics in your research and prevent and overcome the kinds of problems that can arise in real data analysis.

INTERNATIONAL FINANCIAL REPORTING STANDARDS-1
This course provides students with knowledge on the formation and adoption of the International Financial Reporting Standards, their basic concepts, and the requirements for the preparation and content of financial statements in international practice. It also prepares them to deal with practical issues in financial reporting.

Theory of Finance covers the basic principles and fundamental theories of pricing and valuation of various types of financial assets, including stocks, bonds and derivatives. CORPORATE FINANCE
This course develops a conceptual framework for analysing a wide range of corporate financial decisions (investing, financing, payout, strategic deals). It covers the prevailing empirical evidence for the motives and impact of corporate performance in developed and emerging capital markets. The online course covers topics in corporate financial architecture (eg governance issues, the role of the board of directors), ownership structure, and corporate performance.

The main objective of the course is to provide a detailed and thorough understanding of how financial markets work. The course also develops analytical and practical skills in the field of financial markets.
