Associate Professor Sergei Shaposhnikov, Graduate School of Business, National Research University Higher School of Economics gave an open lecture at the Master in International Management program
On April, 27, the fourth public lecture in the "Business and Management in Asia" series of the Master's Programme in International Management was held.
The lecture was given by Associate Professor Sergei Shaposhnikov, Graduate School of Business HSE and was followed by a discussion with Professor Yuri SADOI, Meijo University; Professor Kenji YOKOYAMA, School of Business, Nagoya University of Commerce and Business (NUCB) and Mr.
Makoto UEDA, President of Veritas Management, representing the academic and business community of Japan. The main challenges facing companies and the transformation processes in Japanese management in the 21st century were discussed. Together with Japanese colleagues, other possibilities of transformation processes were identified, the elements of management that are undergoing change were pointed out, and new directions of management development that will replace traditional Japanese management were revealed. Students had the opportunity to have direct contact with Japanese specialists in the field of management and transformation processes in Japan's economy and business.
