Almanac of the Fourth Scientific and Practical Conference "Business Psychology: Theory and Practice" November 16-19, 2017
Conferences on Business Psychology are regularly held at the Higher School of Economics. The format of the conference allows to unite researchers and practitioners working in the field of business psychology in one place. Therefore, psychologists, managers, entrepreneurs, students, teachers took part in the conference. Every year the conference becomes more attractive for representatives of business and consulting.Specificity of this year's conference was the appeal to fundamental psychological phenomena (abilities, activities, cognitive sphere, etc.), scientific research that contributes to the development of business-psychological theory and practice in modern socio-economic conditions. In addition, the specifics of business psychology, the role of business psychological practice in improving business efficiency, and the development of society as a whole were more clearly defined. In the mainstream of the international relations of the master's programme "Psychology in Business", the conference was attended by consultants and psychologists from Great Britain, Iran, Canada, France, Ukraine. Among the speakers were researchers from many cities of our country: Moscow, St. Petersburg, Yaroslavl, Samara, Krasnoyarsk, Kostroma, and others. The results of the conference allow us to say that a unique style of business psychology is being formed in the HSE, which is increasingly becoming attractive to researchers and practitioners. Its meaning is determined by the general orientation to make business more efficient and at the same time more "humane", contributing to the subjective well-being of people, their personal and professional development. As participants noted: "Business psychology benefits practitioners and society, it will be in demand more and more in the future."The program of the conference included a scientific part - reports on modern research and approaches in business psychology, and a practical part - workshops, on which technologies for working with a person and an organization in business were presented.
