The master class was conducted by a graduate student of our program Katerina Bogin – Managing partner of the Insight Group. Business coach, graphic facilitator, moderator of strategic sessions, certified in-depth and team coach.
Business psychologist must be able to competently convey information to the client, understand the problem and the clients’ vision, to engage the audience in the process, for example, problem solving. One way to do this is to draw, that is, to represent figuratively the existing reality. Beautiful, bright, clean flip-charts, diagrams and images that lead people to the result that will be surely remembered by the participants of various events is an important skill of a business psychologist.
It’s easy to work with a flip chart – it’s not necessary to be an artist in order to use visual images!
The master class covered the following topics:
• Insight-scribing as a method of bringing the group to the result
• Ways to highlight text and visual elements on the flip chart
• The basic methods of design of the flip chart for different tasks
• Step-by-step algorithms for turning text into images
• Psychology of perception of text and images by participants
• Ways of improving involvement and the formation of the attitude of the audience through the techniques of visualization
• Creation of a customized library of icons for training
• The basics of creating visual templates for training for different types of training processes (trainings, facilitations, strategic sessions, team coaching).
Author's master-class of Katerina Bogina - scribing and graphic
facilitation - helped students to learn how to visualize information in new, interesting ways, and to expand the creative horizons of visual presentation of the material and understand that everyone can present the material and draw beautifully.
As a result, participants of the master class received a lot of new and unique knowledge; they learnt some "secret" techniques of the artists and got a lot of positive emotions, good mood and confidence!
