Spring school of business psychologists, HSE, London

The spring school of business psychologists in London has passed. It was held at the University of Westminster (University of Westminster) from 20^th  to 25^th  of March 2017. 

Our program uses a wide range of forms of learning, allowing students to understand the meaning of the business of the psychologist better to get an idea about new approaches to the study of psychological phenomena in business, to learn about technologies that have proved themselves in practice. As a business psychology was formed as an international brand and has received the greatest development in the UK, we are building a learning process of business psychologists using the approaches and experience of our English colleagues. On this basis, the content and structure of the curriculum and forms and methods of teaching develop. One of the most popular forms of learning includes a variety of offsite seminars (schools).

The tradition of master program Psychology in business is the summer school, which will be held for the 7^th time. This year Spring school added to the summer one.

School was held at the University of Westminster, which is famous for its practical orientation of learning. This University maintains strong partnerships with many leading industrial and financial organizations, allowing students to complete various internships, to adapt to the real world market. Not by accident, this University is considered to be one of the most popular among foreign students.

It is important for us that University trained business psychologists around 20 years! We are considering to have the school in this University as an important part of the preparation of Russian business psychologists. Therefore, our 

program uses all the possibilities for cooperation with our colleagues from the Center for business and psychological research and program Business Psychology at the University of Westminster.

This year at school, the students met with the approach to business psychology that is developing by  program Manager Stephen Benton, with new psychometric methods, popular in management consulting (for example, the work of the English colleagues), with efficiency factors in coaching, managing stress in organization, methods of development of skills of decision-making in companies, as well as with the experience of leading international companies in the world (for example, Foster & Partners).

All participants expressed a desire to support a new experience of holding the spring schools. Therefore, we agreed with our English colleagues that the next school in London would take place in April 2018.

Teachers of Business Psychology University of Westminster will participate in the following conference on business psychology, which will be held in Moscow from 16^th to 18^th of November 2017.
