We continue our acquaintance with coaching in its new approaches and perspectives

Following the results of master programme "Business Psychology" open event COACHING PARTY: Agile Coaching meet up.

On the master's programme there are many pleasant and useful events for professional development of students. In the spring, traditionally  open seminars and workshops are held, where well-known professionals in their business is invited. 
The coaching party is traditionally devoted to acquaintance with new original ideas, directions that distinguish the modern field of coaching.
Coaching is an important tool for the work of a business psychologist to enhance the personal and professional effectiveness of a person in business. Therefore, during the training on the Business Psychology program, great attention is paid to the study of tools that help to direct the activity of people and organizations for development, overcoming difficulties, increasing efficiency, etc.
At the party, which took place on May 19, 2018, attention was paid to Agile coaching, the meaning and benefits of this approach.

In her introduction speech Ivanova Natalia, professor at the Higher School of Economics, director of the master's program "Business Psychology" raised the question: "Business psychologist: profession or vocation?"
Antonova Natalia, associate professor at the Higher School of Economics, lecturer of the course "Coaching in Business" of the master's program "Business Psychology" presented the structure of the training of business psychologists at the Higher School of Economics, the place of theory and practice of coaching in the learning process, and also revealed the features of coaching as a tool for business -psychologist.
Marina Simonova, founder and director of the University of Business Agility, in her report "Agile beyond IT: Who needs Agile coaching and what for?" shared her life story, which led her to understanding and adopting Agile coaching technology, as well as her vision of the benefits of this directions in coaching not only for business development, but maintaining an atmosphere of cooperation and understanding in family life. Practical exercises helped participants to understand the essence and spirit of Agile transformation.
Andrey Tolmachev, Agile coach, coach of Unusial Concepts for Scrum, ICTA certified coach, in a presentation dedicated to the specific case of transformation of MTS.Kassa, showed how to avoid mistakes in trying to make the company more flexible.
Sergey Aldusev, the Raiffeisenbank's senior Agile-coach, senior vice president, shared his experience of applying Agile coaching in the process of organizational changes. I would like to note that our students and graduates already successfully work in Raiffeisenbank as Agile-coaches and Scrum-masters.
