Modern practices of business psychologists. Coaching in UK

These topics were highlighted at the spring school of business psychologists, which was held  April, 30 to May, 5 in London (United Kingdom).

The traditional Spring School of the “Psychology in Business” program is held in the UK, where in the late 1990s, master's programs for the preparation of business psychologists were opened at several universities. The first  programs appeared at the universities of London - London Metropolitan University and the University of Westminster. There were developed the concept and model of training business psychologists.
At the Spring School  the  workshops were held by the creators of the first programs in Business Psychology N. Merlow and S. Benton, as well as experienced consultants and coaches who teach in London universities, such as C. Wadington, B. Mayon-White, G. Austin, J. Kusharska and others.
In line  to the preparation of business psychologists, which is being developed on the Psychology in Business program of HSE, a lot of attention is paid to consulting technologies  at all stages of this process, and developing consultant skills. Therefore, at the school, participants got acquainted with the cross-cultural aspects of business psychologists, the role of emotional intelligence in organizations, diagnostic methods, basic requirements and ethics of a consultant, tools of facilitation, coaching, etc.
