It is so interesting to do research in business psychology!
On the 17th of June was held the defence of papers of first-year students in our program.
The first year of study our first-year students is completed. As final of the year, the poster session took place. This format of presentation of scientific research is more often used in the practice of large-scale international conferences which attract a great number of reports, primarily to save time. As a method of defence of scientific papers, the method of posters in a relatively short time lets experts to get acquainted with the research, and also gives the chance to students to discuss with their colleagues the results of the coursework. Therefore, the poster session takes place in a friendly atmosphere, which manifests the collegial interaction of teachers and students, as well as the mutual interest of students to each other's work.
The experts noted the high level of professionalism of students in the work of literature, formulation of hypotheses, formulation of goals, objectives and the preparation of empirical research. Students are easily and freely answered questions.
All the submitted works are of applied nature and aimed at finding psychological solutions facing the business objectives: in management, personal development, market entry, etc.
Many of the works associated with the personal factors in organizations and business, for example, the semantic aspects of the work, the success of personality in business, resistance to innovation, building commitment and employee loyalty, career in business, motivation of staff, emotional intelligence as a factor of success, self-centeredness and communication, self-actualization of employees in the financial sector, etc. Part of researches is devoted to problems of consumer behavior and marketing: developing an effective brand, especially the training of professionals-marketers in business, the factors of product selection and decision-making by the consumer about the purchase of goods, etc., work Is of methodological nature, to develop training programs, facilitation and coaching sessions, counseling, expert systems support for customers, etc.
