HSE Winter School 2018

Winter school 2018 of Faculty of Social Sciences was held at the ‘Voronovo’ Learning Centre from January 22 to January 26, 2018. Representatives of the “Population and Development” held a special session dedicated to the sustainable development.

Vladimir Kozlov presented the Master’s programme to potential students and discussed world population trends. After it, a talk on the UN sustainable development goals and countries’ experience of working towards them was presented. At the end, participants of the Winter School were encouraged to brainstorm ideas and step-by-step strategies of how they could contribute into achieving the sustainable development goals at the community level.
