The workshops by Robert Gal, Hungarian Demographic Research Institute

At the end of November, Robert Gal, Senior Research Fellow at the Hungarian Demographic Research Institute, gave workshops for the students "Population and Development" on the National Transfer Account (NTA).

He covered the discrepancy between the age patterns of production and consumption, resource reallocations and age profiles of unpaid household labor. In addition, he explained the consequences of state intervention in the inter-age reallocation system taking the Swedish case as an example.
