Graduation Ceremony of the Program "Population and Development"
On the program "Population and development" On July 3, 2023, a solemn graduation of students took place. The graduation ceremony was held in a friendly atmosphere, in which the students heard the wishes of their mentors. Vladimir Al. Kozlov, the previous academic head of the program, congratulated the students in a video message. The professors of the program also left their wishes to the graduates.
‘Football Brings People Together’: Faculty of Social Science Took Second Place at the First HSE Football Tournament among Foreign Students
The Higher School of Economics organized its first ever-mini football tournament for international students. The exciting competition took place on Sunday 28th May. The event which engaged spectators with excitement and curiosity had 6 teams at the “Energia” Stadium. At the end of March, 2nd-year student of the Master's program “Population and Development” Adeola Oluwatobi Oyewole took part in the VIII Forum dedicated to the Sustainable Development Goals (SDG). The event was held from March 27 to March 29 at the Moscow State Institute of International Relations (MGIMO).
HSE Students Presented at a Conference in Preparation for the Second Russian-African Summit
February 9, 2023 student of the educational program “Population and Development” Adeitan Mustafa Adenii made a presentation at the conference in the format of a round table discussion organized in preparation for the 2nd Russia-Africa summit, which is scheduled for July 2023. The virtual event which was gathered by the Russian-African club in conjunction with the Faculty of Journalism, Moscow State University (MSU) had over 100 participants drawn from both academia and media industries. In particular, 35 participants from four regions of Africa and Russia made presentations at the conference.
Open Day
On January 23, an Open Day was held for the master's program “Population and Development” of the Faculty of Social Sciences of the Higher School of Economics. During the event, participants had the opportunity to get to know the program better. In particular, applicants were told about the details of the admission process and the features of studying. In addition, part of the meeting was devoted to the discussion of the advantages of the specialty and the trajectories of building a career path.

Participation of our Master's Student in an International Conference
July 5th our student, Idowu Bashiru Olalekan, participated in the First Annual Multidisciplinary International Conference at the University of Nigeria Nsukka on the theme: a Whole New World: Research, Development and Innovation in the Pandemic Era. It was the First Annual Multidisciplinary Conference of the University.
