"I thoroughly enjoyed my time doing an internship at the Università degli Studi di Napoli Federico II (University of Naples Federico II), the oldest state university in the world, located in Naples, Italy. We are happy to tell you more about the second Culture Café that took place on March, 7th and became a very memorable event for its participants! Thank you to all Ghanaian students who contributed to it. That evening was a true feast and all the guests could witness how devotedly the students presented their national traditions and shared lots of details about their unique and diverse culture.

Academic Supervisor of the programm "Population and Development" Prof. Vladimir Kozlov and 2nd year student, Kephas Odoyo, representing HSE at the 53rd Anniversary of the Independence of the Republic of Kenya. In attendance are diplomats from various countries. The keynote speech was given by Minister for State Russian Federation and Kenyan Ambassador to Moscow on 9/12/2016.

The Sexuality and Social Work Interest Group is an international network of academics, students, practitioners and service users that seeks to develop knowledge and practice innovations in the field of sexuality studies and social work. It seeks to encourage connections between members and interested organizations to enable further research and practice development. Muhammad Umer Ehsan  - the student of program "Population and Development" shares his experience of participating this conference.

Report on Cultural Diversity, Migration and Educational Conference (University of Potsdam)
With millions of migrants and refugees arriving in Europe and over 65 million displaced worldwide, the understanding of cultural diversity, migration, and the educational integration and the adaptation of both the newcomers and the receiving countries continues to be a major concern to all stakeholders.

The summer school which was organized by SRH University Heidelberg, Germany took place from June 26 to July 3, 2016 and it covered topic such as Diversity, politics and society, social security and legal framework, Challenges for the Educational Sector and Applied Diversity. It was complemented by social and cultural activities introducing German culture and history. Ebenezer Adu-Darko - the student of program "Population and Development" shares his experience of participating this school.

On January 31st – February 3^rd 2016, the Winter School of the Faculty of Social Sciences was held at the ‘Voronovo’ Learning Centre, HSE. During the event, potential master’s students took part in master classes, business cases and meetings with students and graduates of the faculty’s educational programmes.
