Second Kazakhstani-Russian School of Youth Diplomacy

On November 24-25 the Second Kazakhstani-Russian School of Youth Diplomacy organized by Embassy of the Republic of Kazakhstan in the Russian Federation was held in Moscow. Students of the HSE Social sciences faculty took part in the School. They were V. Mikhaylov, A. Hamitsev, E. Ivanov. All of them were awarded by certificates.

This year the School followed a slogan: "National branding: step to the future". It was offered to participants to think over questions of country branding, a role of public diplomacy and "soft power" and problems of modern communication strategy, etc.

Among lecturers there were such prominent experts as the co-founder and the CEO of the ArtGraphics.ru A. Purtov, the social anthropologist S. Murunov, the vice-president of «KROS» PR agency O. Peskova, etc.

According to participants say, it is very interesting and actual project which allows to expand vision and understanding of soft power processes beyond a framework of an university program.
