A student of the program won in an intenational contest "The Best Article by a Young Political Scientist"

The event began with an opening speech by Andrey Gorokhov, editor-in-chief of the journal "Russian Political Science" and Chairman of the ANO "Laboratory of Humanitarian Projects," who announced the results of the sixth annual contest of articles by young political scientists.

Diplomas were presented to the winners.  Well wishes were expressed for continued success in scientific and educational endeavors.

The competition, held annually since 2018, aims to recognize and support talented, original, and promising young researchers in the field of political science. The main organizers are the journal "Russian Political Science - Russian Political Science" and ANO "Laboratory of Humanitarian Projects." The competition's experts include leading figures in political science from Russia, Belarus, Serbia, India, and Japan.

Mateo Rojas Samper's winning article titled "The Moral Foundations of Civil Disobedience According to Thoreau and Its Expected Political Effects" delves into Henry David Thoreau's philosophical perspectives on civil disobedience. Using Thoreau's seminal work "Civil Disobedience" as a framework, the article explores the ethical justifications for civil disobedience and its potential impact on the political landscape.

We congratulate Mateo with this achievement and wish success in his further research!
