List of professional competencies of the graduate includes the following:

• has the capacity to use up-to-date research findings in Political Science and the cognate disciplines, to apply Political Science’s approaches to practical tasks in one’s professional activities;
• has the capacity to work with up-to-date academic literature and to analyze the state-of-the-art and rising trends in Political Science;
• has the capacity to use up-to-date empirical databases in one’s academic and project activities, as well as to develop databases for research and practical purposes independently;
• has the capacity to analyze empirical data (from political, economic and sociological research) relying on the latest qualitative and quantitative methods and with the use of the relevant software;
• has the capacity to build and analyze mathematical models for socio-political systems and processes;
• has the capacity to design academic and applied research, including research carried out by teams, with a focus on the most up-to-date methodologies, methods and approaches employed by Political Science, Social Sciences and the Science in general;
• has the capacity to plan and organize political (advocacy) campaigns;
• has the capacity to organize and carry out political analysis of socially significant projects;
• has the capacity to establish professional communications with the authorities and municipal administrations;
• has the capacity to independently draw up analytical materials (reviews, memos, reports, recommendations, etc.) and proposals for participants of political decision-making.
