Ethnic and cultural development of regions: a youth view

On 1-3 November, the Institute of ethnology and anthropology of the Russian Academy of Sciences held a conference “Ethnic and cultural development of regions: a youth view” where Hamitsev A.S., a student of the 4th course of a bachelor degree, and Ivanov E.A., a student of the “Politics. Economics. Philosophy” master program made a joint report.

The report was devoted to a problem of discrimination of highly-skilled labor migrants from Central Asia who is coming to Russia. Also performance raised the questions of development of the social capital in Russia, labeling of ethnic minorities and specifics of labor ethics of various ethnic groups.
