Recommended Online Courses (MOOC)

According to the Regulation on Academic Mobility of HSE students, students have the opportunity to complete a course from the MOOC’s (Massive Open Online Courses) offered by foreign universities and to add their earned credits within the framework of certain discipline. By the decision of the Academic Council of the educational programme “Applied Statistics with Network Analysis”, the following online disciplines can be counted as optional courses (with the assignment the weight of credits - up to 4 credits):

1. Social Network Analysis (University of Michigan, Daniel Romero)
2. R Programming (Johns Hopkins University, R. Peng, J. Leek, B. Caffo)
3. Programming for Everybody (Getting Started with Python) (University of Michigan, Ch. Severance)
4. Questionnaire Design for Social Surveys  (University of Michigan, F. Konrad, F. Kreuter)

Please note, that in order for the online-course to be credited, you must register on Coursera.org using your corporate email address at @edu.hse.ru.
