First graduates of the Master's Program "Applied Statistics with Network Analysis"

We are congratulating our first graduates!

Two years ago our program was opened and admitted the first students. Time goes fast and we are congratulating our first graduates! Almost twenty new professionals in applied statistics, or, as they are now called “data scientists,” received HSE diplomas. Four of them received diplomas with distinction!

During the program, students not only acquired advanced data analysis methods and studied modern programming languages ​​and statistical packages, but also learned to think creatively.

In age of big data, when not all analysts have the skills to use meaningfully large volumes of information, it is obvious that graduates of the master’s program “Applied Statistics with Network Analysis” are able to find solutions to research or applied problems of any complexity.

More than half of graduates of the program are already employed. Three graduates enrolled in PhD programs at leading European universities, one will continue his study at HSE doctoral program.
