Seminar 'Retirement age as a milestone in life: the image of the desired future and the experience of planning your life'

On August 15, the open day of the Data Analytics and Social Statistics programme took place.

Academic Director of the programme Ivan Aleksandrovich Klimov and student of the programme Maria Ermolaeva told about how they took part in the study of approaches of older people to planning their lives after retirement and what methods they used to conduct this study. What traits are typical for those who pay more attention to planning this period of their lives? How is a person’s past experience related to this? What areas of life do pre-retirement people pay the most attention to? All these issues were discussed at the seminar, as well as research methods and features of conducting sociological research.
