How International Students Can Receive Scholarships at HSE
HSE offers several scholarships that allow international students to cover part of their tuition fees in both undergraduate and graduate programmes. Scholarships are offered as a tuition discount for international students and take effect at the time of their enrolment in HSE. The scholarships are granted for the full period of studies.
Academic Council Approves Tuition Fees for HSE Programmes
The HSE Academic Council has approved tuition fees for undergraduate and graduate programmes for incoming students in 2019.

New Registration Rules Now in Place for Foreign Citizens in Russia
On July 8, amendments to Russian migration legislation regulating the registration of foreign citizens coming to the Russian Federation came into effect. They concern, in particular, HSE’s international employees and students. The most important change: you now must be registered at the place where you actually live.
HSE Makes It onto Forbes University Ranking
For the first time ever, Forbes (Russia) has published its own ranking of the best universities in Russia. One of the main objectives of the ranking was to determine which universities produce talented young entrepreneurs, including those capable of making it onto Forbes’ main ranking in the future or becoming part of Russia’s political elite. HSE placed 10th in the ranking.
IGITI researchers participated in the conference of the Italian Association of Public History
Irina Savelieva, Boris Stepanov, Kirill Levinson and Alexandra Kolesnik have organized a panel "Shaping Public History in Russia: Forms, Places and Media" at the second conference of the Italian Association of Public History. The conference took place in Pisa, on June 11-15.
Elena Vishlenkova and Elena Lisitsyna participated in international workshop in Munich
On May 18-19 IGITI's Chief Research Fellow Elena Vishlenkova and Research Assistant Elena Lisitsyna have participated "On Land and Sea: Medical geography in the Russian empire (1770-1870)". The workshop was organised by Chair of Russian / Asian Studies (LMU Munich) in cooperation with The Graduate School for East and Southeast European Studies (GS OSES).

Junior research fellow Alexandra Kolesnik took part in a conference ‘Hard Wired VI: So far, so good…so what? Approaching the Metal Realities’, which was held on May 3–5, 2018 at the University of Siegen (Germany). Alexandra presented a paper ‘Russian Heavy Metal Fandom and Post-Soviet Reality’.
