Students and teachers of "Applied Social Psychology" at the HSE's 1st International Scientific Conference of Young Scientists
On November 7-8th Higher School of Economics, Faculty of Social Sciences hosted the 1st International Scientific Conference of Young Scientists "To the Alliance of the Social Sciences: Theory and Practice of Interdisciplinary Cooperation."
In the framework of this conference in the section "Psychological factors of socio-political and economic phenomena" a student of the master program "Applied social psychology" Irina Prusova did the report "Influence of fear of death on the change of political orientation". During the presentation were presented the main theoretical approaches, methodology, empirical research results. The report aroused lively interest to the topic and has demonstrated Irina’s high scientific and research level of training in this study area.
Among the chairs and discussants at this conference there were staff members from International scientific-educational laboratory for socio-cultural research and the teachers of the master’s program "Applied social psychology" professor, chief researcher, Doctor of science A. N. Tatarko, associate professor, senior researcher, PhD E.V. Bushina, and junior researcher D. I. Dubrov.
