Evgeniya Kravchenko wins the prize of Fund for Educational Innovation for creating the course «Leadership and Organization»

The Fund awards the prize for creating outstanding and innovative English-language courses that get the support of an academic supervisor.

«Leadership and Organization» aims to teach the students the main aspects of leadership with an emphasis on application aspects in organizations. They learn leadership theories, become familiar with the different instruments to evaluate leadership behavior, and learn to understand leadership practice in organizational context.

The author of the course and FEI winner Evgeniya Kravchenko: “While developing the course I had a goal to create something that would fit the students who plan to continue their doctoral studies and, at the same time, those who are working in organizations. That is why the course is comprised of two sections: on one hand, the overview of the main theories of leadership and the evaluation instruments that are used in each approach, and, on the other, the look into the main aspects of applied use of leadership techniques in organizations – from cross-cultural to gender aspects. In the process of developing the course I created numerous practice exercises and compiled fitting case studies, which are useful not only to the students learning about leadership, but also professionals who actually practice leadership techniques in organizations”.
