Wolfgang Polt, Director of Policies, the Institute for Economic and Innovation Research of JOANNEUM RESEARCH Ltd. Economist, consultant and political advisor. Clients include ministries, council and funding agencies from Austria, Belgium, Finland, Germany, Japan and Switzerland.
Focus of research is on innovation systems, Science, Technology and Innovation Policies and Evaluations. Regular lecturer at the University of Economics and Business of Vienna (WU Wien) and the Joint Vienna Institute (JVI). Member of the editorial boards of the Journal for Technology Transfer, the fteval journal for research and technology policy evaluation and the journal for Foresight and STI Governance. Representative of Joanneum Research in the board of the Joint Institute for Innovation Policy (JIIP).
