Programme Overview

The master’s programme “World Economy” is based on the main trends, issues and prospects of the world economy and aims to provide systematic knowledge of its development as an interdependent system of national economies, international organizations and transnational structures interacting on the world stage.

The goal of the programme is to educate a new generation of economists able to assess the breakthrough potential of a wide range of scientific and technological changes in the world accelerated by actively developing digitalization. Students of the programme will learn to predict the economic momentum of new technologies and quickly respond to changing global economy.

The programme combines goals of in-depth fundamental education, development of scientific-research skills and expertise required for highly qualified employees.

Courses are taught in Russian and English by leading Russian and foreign experts.
