Master’s Programme World Economy emphasizes the major issues, trends and perspectives of the international economics. The Programme provides a rigorous combination of knowledge in international economics as the interconnected system of national economies, international organizations and transnational structures.
The Programme offers an advanced theoretical foundation, develops research skills and competencies required for the professionals in both public and private sectors such as for managers and analytics in the sphere of the international financial market, the digital economics, high tech, as well as for experts in the natural resources management and energy market analysis, the researches and academics in the sphere of the international economics and international economic relations.
The graduates will be able to solve various applied tasks in public service, national and transnational companies or in consulting or academic spheres. Alumni of the Programme work in Russian national companies, public service and continue studies in international universities.
Graduates are competent in the sphere of the international financial, energy markets and the digital economy.
You will learn:
- The module of the basic courses in the sphere of economics: Macroeconomics, Microeconomics, Econometrics.
- The module of the Programme’s core courses: International Competitive Models Analysis; Digital Economy and Technological Megatrends; Transformations of Crisis 2008-2009
- Further students can choose one of three specializations:
- Global Governance and Finance: Investment Management in Corporations; International Finance; Financial Regulation.
- • Digital Economy and Technological Megatrends: Forecasting in the Digital Economy; Intellectual Property and the Digital Economy.
- • International Energy Sector: Transnational Energy Companies Management, Energy Markets Management; Design Analysis in the Energy Sector.
This degree programme of HSE University is adapted for students with special educational needs (SEN) and disabilities. Special assistive technology and teaching aids are used for collective and individual learning of students with SEN and disabilities. The specific adaptive features of the programme are listed in each subject's full syllabus and are available to students through the online Learning Management System.
