Participation of Daniltsev A.V. in the Eastern Economic Forum 2019

The Eastern Economic Forum 2019 took place on 4–6 September in Vladivostok on the Far Eastern Federal University (FEFU) campus.

Alexander Vladimirovich Daniltsev, Director of Institute for Trade Policy of National Research University Higher School of Economics, participated in the forum moderating the section “Including the Far East in Global Value Chains: Effective Strategies”.

Within the framework of the section, issues of increasing involvement level of Far East region enterprises in Global Value Chains (GVCs) were raised. Proposals on formation of effective strategy of inclusion companies of the region in GVCs were worked out. Necessary conditions and mechanisms for the implementation of this strategy, including prospects for cooperation development with key foreign partners in the region, were discussed.
