Effect of Co-production on Innovation Propensity in KIBS Firms
On July 3, Veronika Belousova presented the paper 'Effect of Co-production on Innovation Propensity in KIBS Firms', prepared jointly with Ian Douglas Miles and Derrick Ababio Anim, at '2017 R&D Management Conference' in Leuven (Belgium).
In this paper the authors consider the influence of the processes of co-production and standardization on the propensity for innovation of companies in the KIBS sector. Using the least squares method, orderly logistic and probit regressions, the authors established a significant positive relationship between the degree of co-production and the propensity to innovate. In addition, those companies that are characterized by a high level of standardization are less likely to involve their clients in the co-production process.
