The first PhD thesis of the international doctorate program IDEALAB
Laura BOS, a co-author of several articles by the Laboratory staff members, successfully defended the thesis "The brain, verbs and the past: Neurolinguistic studies on time reference"
January 22, 2015, the first PhD thesis of the international doctorate program IDEALAB (Experimental Approaches to Language and Brain, http://em-idealab.com), implemented in partnership with the Neurolinguistics Laboratory, was defended. Laura BOS, a co-author of several articles by the Laboratory staff members, successfully defended the thesis "The brain, verbs and the past: Neurolinguistic studies on time reference" and was awarded the doctor of philosophy degree. The head of the Neurolinguistics Laboratory Olga Dragoy attended this traditional Dutch ceremony as an honorary member of the Crown (the commission, examining PhD candidates).
