Lecture by Linda Worrall on ‘Best Practice Recommendations for Aphasia across the Continuum of Care’
On June 3 a lecture by Linda Worrall on ‘Best Practice Recommendations for Aphasia across the Continuum of Care’ took place at HSE. The event was organized by the Neurolinguistics Laboratory.
During the lecture Professor Worrall spoke about basic rehabilitation principles adopted by the Australian Aphasia Association. In her report she shared her experience on the establishing and implementing these recommendations in clinical practice as well as analyzing the effectiveness of treatment for aphasia.
Linda Worrall is Professor and Co-Director at the School of Health and Rehabilitation Sciences at the University of Queensland. Professor Worrall is particularly interested in aphasia rehabilitation. She is the author of 6 books and over 100 scientific papers in the field of aphasiology and rehabilitation.
