On May 19 Stephanie Forkel held a seminar "Connectional   anatomy   of   language   and   its   impact   on   language   recovery». She told about the classical Western approach to the neuroanatomy of language and about connectional anatomy of language in the human brain. The application of this "new anatomy of language" was demonstrated on the example of what neurological deficits can be the result of key neural pathways damage and what role these pathways play in the recovery of functions after lesions.
