Seminar "Correction for multiple comparisons at the level of clusters in fMRI: what's the problem?"

The seminar was held by Ekarterina Pachenkova, PhD in Psychological sciences

The seminar of the laboratory was devoted to the analysis of the article Anders Eklund, Thomas Nichols and Hans Knutson "Why fMRI inferences for spatial extent have inflated false-positive rates", published in PNAS in June 2016. Participants of the seminar descussed the principles of various corrections types for multiple comparisons in the most popular packages for fMRI data processing - SPM, FSL and AFNI. Also, the impact of published articles on research in the field of neuroimaging was discussed. In conclusion, possible practical advice in planning fMRI studies and statistical processing of fMRI data were suggested.
